Kelly

02-01-2003

We have had the best seizure control when Kelly was completely medicine free (no seizure medicine or any thing else). For many this is not an option. Our girls are for the most part very different and I do not recommend doing this to any one. Each of our girls are different and the parents and doctors should judge if this would be an option for each girl on an individual basis. For Kelly it was, at the time, the best thing. She went eight months seizure free. Now with all her hormonal changes I think she needs her medicine.

We each as parents have to decide what is best for our children (healthy or not). Sometimes it is hard to tell what the best thing is. Sometimes we have to decide between the lesser of two evils. All any of us can do is try to be informed as we can about our choices and pray in the end that we have made the right decision.
