Brie had a circle of people supporting her and we came up with this vision for her. It was a great help in conveying our hopes and for advocating for what she needs in order to make this vision come to life. It is also a teaching tool for letting her support people in the over -18 system know what we hope will be her future. We opted not to get a real diploma at age 18 but she did leave high school and explore many volunteer opportunities in the community while still being supported by the educational system.
